CLUB FPS DOG TRAINING & CANINE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY offers a unique relationship based training approach focused on creating a harmonious relationship between dog owners and their dogs through clear and consistent leadership and better understanding of dog psychology and canine communication. \u00a0<\/p>\r\n

LEASH HANDLING GROUP CLASS<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

Our 1 hour drop in leash handling group class allows the dog and owner to practice and perfect learned skills with distractions of strangers and other dogs in a controlled environment under the guidance of a trainer. \u00a0Real life drills and scenarios help dogs and owners learn and habitualize new desired behaviours. This class is designed and available to all graduates of Canine Communication 101 and FPS private training programs.<\/p>\r\n

CLASS COST: $40 per class<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

PRIVATE TRAINING CONSULTATION<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

For clients that are interested in a private in-person training consultation (at the FPS facility) or virtual training through zoom from the comfort of your home, we offer 30 minute and 1 hour private consultations.<\/p>\r\n

COST: 30 minute consultation – $149 \/ 1 hour consultation – $199<\/b><\/p>\r\n

BASIC 3 DAY PROGRAM – Day Training<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

This program is a great fit for owners whose dogs are demonstrating minor behavioural issues such as pulling on leash, jumping up, not being able to settle on cue and general naughty disobedience.\u00a0 <\/span>Easy and gentle tools\u00a0<\/span>are introduced with a step-by-step program for the dog and owner along with a detailed outline on how to achieve desired results.<\/p>\r\n

DAY 1 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

    \r\n
  • Day training for the dog at the facility with 3 one-on-one training sessions<\/li>\r\n
  • Teaching the dog loose leash walking, relaxing on cue, spacial boundaries\u00a0<\/li>\r\n
  • 3 hour private training session with the owner at the end of the day\u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    DAY 2<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

      \r\n
    • Day training for the dog at the facility with 3 one-on-one training sessions<\/li>\r\n
    • Practicing loose leash walking with distractions, “Place” training with distractions, teaching the dog verbal cues through games<\/li>\r\n
    • 2 hour private training session with the owner at the end of the day<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

      DAY 3<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

        \r\n
      • 1 hour ADVANCED LEASH HANDLING CLASS. \u00a0Group class practicing real life applications of relaxation on cue with distractions, loose leash walking with distractions of other dogs and people<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

        10 DAY STANDARD BOARD AND TRAIN<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\r\n

        This program is a perfect fit for owners who\u2019s dogs are demonstrating any behavioural issues such as dog and\/or human reactivity\/aggression, pulling on leash, leash reactivity, food reactivity, jumping up, not being able to settle in a crate or next to owner and general disobedience.\u00a0 <\/span>This program includes a brief Introduction to Dog Psychology helping owners understand why their dog does what they do and how to change it. \u00a0This program includes 6 days of training for the dog at the facility with a trainer (2 separate boarding visits with a total of 4 nights of boarding included) as well as 3 group training with distractions classes and additional follow up consultation.\u00a0<\/span>The additional training days for the dog as well as follow up classes will help the dog and the owner to learn and reinforce new desired behaviours with greater degree of accuracy and ease.<\/p>\r\n

        DAY 1-4 (BOARDING + PRIVATE LESSON)<\/b><\/p>\r\n

        • The dog spends 4 days in BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM with 3 one-on-one training sessions each day<\/li>\r\n
        • One-on-one 3 hour training session with owner on day 4.<\/li>\r\n
        • Lesson includes Introduction to Dog Psychology, as well as demonstration of the dog\u2019s progress that week with trainer (+video footage). The owner learns what steps are required for the dog in the coming weeks for behaviour changes to start taking place (BOOTCAMP PROGRAM). \u00a0<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n
