Welcome to FAMILY PET SERVICES Country Club for Dogs. My name is Mary Nebesny and my husband and partner is Cameron Samoyloff, and we are the founders of CLUB FPS Canine Enrichment Centre. Family Pet Services was born in 2006 and began as a small dog walking and home boarding company. From day one, our goal was to provide our four legged guests with a beautiful life they deserve through a healthy and positive pack environment and give their owners peace of mind, knowing their beloved dogs were taken care of with unparalleled love and dedication.
Over the first decade, Cameron and I immersed ourselves into extensive study of dog behaviour and psychology by living with large packs of dogs and studying canine behaviour on an ongoing basis. Believe us when we say, that living with 20 to 30+ dogs from different households in your home day in and day out for over a decade, you learn to not only speak dog, but you truly learn what it is to be a dog. We saw thousands of dogs on regular basis and through their lifetime, worked daily with behaviour modification and observed the positive outcomes that a well balanced social life can have on dogs when it comes not only to quality of their life, but also a dog’s vitality and longevity.
After seeing the amazing benefits of social interaction on dogs’ lives, we knew that we found a way to make a difference and help so many dogs lead the most beautiful and fulfilling lives and that became our mission, our passion and our drive. By helping dogs lead the best life possible, we also helped thousands of dog owners feel the joy of knowing that their dog lived the fullest life, being a dog, enjoying regular social interactions, new adventures and friends; where on the day of the dog’s passing, the owners never had regrets of whether their dog had the best life possible, even if we always wish it was longer.
The more dogs we met and integrated into our Social Club, the more dogs we were determined to help have better more fulfilling lives. After all, how many dogs do you know that live majority of their life in the confines of their home and their yard? After the isolation of the great Covid-19 pandemic, we all know that a life of boredom and isolation is no life at all! But I digress….
As our experience with pack environment and canine expertise grew, we came to realize that not all daycares, boarding facilities, pet sitters, dog walkers and trainers were created equal. In an industry unregulated, where any person can claim to be a pet care professional we found many claiming to be experts without any experience, track record or expertise to back them up. At that time we decided that fulfilling dogs was just half the puzzle. However to make a real difference and lasting change, we needed to educate the pet parents as well as pet professionals that wanted to make a true positive change in helping todays’ dogs and their owners live a beautiful life together.
After mastering the Art of Canine Communication, Cameron and I continued to explore and study the art of training from world renowned trainers and behaviourists and the full range of dog training methodologies with the goal of continuously learning and perfecting our ways of Canine-Human communication as well as the most effective and humane ways of training our beloved canine companions to live in our human world.
After a 15 year journey and our FPS Pack by our side, we finally completed and built our dream Enrichment Centre for Dogs, their Owners and Canine Professionals.
Club FPS is a place where dogs come to be a dog. Whether they are here for daycare, boarding or training, they are here to have their lives enriched through mutual understanding, trust, respect and love. Through our daily social programs and interactions, we prioritize our guests’ physical, mental and emotional needs… fulfilling their body, mind and spirit.
Club FPS is a place where dog owners come for their dog’s boarding, daycare, training and overall social and life enrichment needs. A place where their dogs get to live a life full of fun, adventure and social interaction, where they will be treated as part of the family with utmost love and respect.
Club FPS is a place for Dog Care Professionals to work and learn canine communication in a unique structured pack environment focusing on dog psychology, energy and proven scientific training methods. We take pet care profession very seriously and train our Canine Coaches to the highest standard of care.
Here at Family Pet Services we are not just another daycare, boarding or training facility. We are a Canine Wellness & Enrichment Centre with a goal of making a positive difference and improving the lives of dogs and their owners in our community and around the world.
